Gordon and his wife Bambi came to ORBC in 2004. After years of being a commercial waterman, a truck driver, and being in the recycling industry, God directed Gordon’s life toward full-time ministry. It was through a mission trip to Latvia and training at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary that Gordon discovered God’s leading in ministry. Gordon’s ministry journey has included a church plant, a senior pastor ministry, and now a part of the ORBC adult pastoral team. "My desire is to lead others into a deeper relationship with Christ, through preaching, teaching and example. It brings me great joy to be a part of helping people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.” “That {we} might know [Christ]…” (Phil. 3:10).
