Our DREAM
Oak Ridge believes the church should exist to be a blessing to people all over the world. Our goal is to send 1,000 ORBC members on short-term trips over the next 10 years.
Our strategy is to partner with local churches wherever we go and allow them to tell us how we can best serve with them to accomplish their vision for their people group. We believe this to be the most effective strategy because of the following:
- Helps us to avoid many of the common missions & cultural mistakes
- Strengthens the ministry impact of their local church
- Forms relationships and projects which can be built upon for years to come
Thinking about going?
Oak Ridge regularly sends people on approximately 2 week trips to China, Turkey, and Peru doing construction, English language tutoring, medical clinics, prayer walking, leader training and whatever else our international partners request.
